A high-quality form of digitization plays an essential role in optimal object measurement. That is why we work with the precise and flexible 3D scanning systems from GOM. The full-surface measurement data is captured using Blue Light Technology and also enables highly complex components to be scanned. This allows important decisions to be made on product quality. The wavelength of the blue light has the property of filtering out interfering ambient light and ensuring the highest measuring accuracy for different materials such as sheet metal, injection molding, metal casting, or 3D printing.

Reference marks
To create an all-round measurement, the individual components are first with reference marks in the form of small, round stickers. The individual scan data is aligned in the software using these reference marks and assembled into a digital component. If components have a particularly reflective surface, the disturbing reflections are suppressed with a chalk spray. This ensures maximum measuring accuracy even with challenging surfaces.
